| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This stirring concerto is one of the most popular ever written, and one of the most recognizable of all musical works in the standard repertoire. It is filled with youthful ebullience—Grieg was 25 when he composed it—and great melodic inspiration, much of it derived from Norway’s rich folk music tradition. Deeply Romantic, with thrilling melodies and rich harmonies, it is the only piano concerto Grieg would compose. Reprinted here from the authoritative full-score edition published by C. F. Peters of Leipzig.

Time Travel to Grieg's Era! December 12, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This piece of music is absolutely amazing! I spent 2 years trying to figure out what the song was called (I had it as a demo on an old Yamaha keyboard), and finally I found it, and couldn't find sheet music for it! I found it on here, and my ONLY complaint is that the book covers ALL 12 sections of instruments, so if you're playing just the one part, you have to constantly flip the page every 8 beats or so. Overall, this is an amazing window at Edvard Grieg's most recognized piece of music!
Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op.16 by Grieg - Full Score August 4, 2005 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
A well presented , easy to follow score. This is a must for any lover of this concerto. It is worth buying to appreciate both the simplicity and complexity of the piano part. Franz Liszt apparently played it at sight - how good was he! Great product - highly recommended.
Good Basic Score April 24, 2001 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The score itself is very good, with the whole page taken up by the different instruments. The 9 1/2" by 12" size is generous and makes the score much easier to read than the "minature series". But other than a TOC and a description of the instrumentation that is mostly a translation of the Italian, there is nothing else to the book. That is except for a four page list of other scores from the publisher. Overall it is just what it says it is, sheet music.
