I love this book! Donaudy is a somewhat obscure, yet really awesome composer. Although he is technically a late Romantic/ early Contemporary composer his style is neo-Baroque. This book is appropriate for the advanced student/singer but also has some pieces that would suit a less experienced student. I am using three of the pieces in my senior recital. The only draw back is that all of the pieces in this book are about love or unrequited love, but then I guess most Italian songs are.
