On buying this book of Charlie 'Yardbird' Parkers best jazz saxophone solos, I was impressed with the degree of accuracy at which they had copied his music. The songs were all of high standard, and very easy to read, which is good for the young saxophonist, as they are not used to the old printing style of sheet music from the 1930's. this book revives the yardbirds reputation, and brings to life his tunes from over half a century ago. You can almost imagine that he is right there playing from the book with you. i recommend this book to any serious jazz enthusiast, and hope that you enjoy playing this collection of spectacular solos.
