The Mollard Conducting Baton is by far the best of it's kind. When I was taking my first conducting class in college, I purchased a bargain baton from a local music shop. It was heavy and had an abnormally large handle. I thought that this would suffice until I decided to buy a nicer one later. About a week after I bought the baton, a colleague of mine gave me one of his Mollards, he had received it as a gift and wanted to let me use it. From the very first moment I gripped it I was convinced. It was extremely lightweight, perfectly balanced, and responsive, the descriptions on the Mollard website were NOT exaggerating. I highly recomend this item. Buy with confidence!!!
