| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The S-direct plus gives you all the same features of the original S-direct, but in stereo. It's like having two direct boxes in one, perfect for keyboard players or any instrument with multiple outputs.

| Customer Reviews:
One of the few stereo direct boxes out there, full featured and priced right... February 7, 2008 As a gigging musician who uses stereo processing and amplification almost exclusively, I appreciated finding something like the Samson Stereo Direct Box because I don't have to buy and haul around two single channel boxes nor do I have to pay twice as much for the privilege. As for its performance, the Samson is noise free and includes a few interesting features while still costing only as much or less than a decent single channel box. Along with stereo capability and a standard ground lift switch, this unit will detect phantom power when you're in battery mode and automatically flip over to it, saving your battery for when you really need it. Another interesting feature is that it will take speaker level inputs through the use of an input attenuator switch, so if you want to tap your final output to send to the PA instead of a dry or line level signal, you can do it. I'm actually a little hesitant about sending an amp's output to anything other than a speaker, but the documentation says it can be done. In any case there's enough flexibility in this box to accommodate just about any configuration I could dream up, and it's priced to go. It's worth mentioning that the four corner pieces, the "feet", are actually hard plastic and not rubber as the description states. If you expect to bounce it on occasion, cracking or breaking them isn't out of the question. Other than that, the construction is sturdy and it's a nice looking piece of gear.
