perfect metronome July 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was bought for my son who is a drummer. He loves this little metronome. He says it definitely has volume adjustment, and easily changes click patterns and tempo. He's happy and recommends it to musicians.
Stay away from this! June 24, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
We sent one back and got another to have the same thing happen. It stops and resets itself back to the default speed for no reason. We tried changing batteries, but it didn't help. It was not worth the price, even if it DID work. Go with a more basic metronome.
this metronome has problems March 28, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
i like the way this metronome is thought out but think that in the end it is too endlessly complicated. there are also problems with it that i cannot seem to understand. when i am using it at a tempo and attempt to change the tempo it will suddenly half the metronome marking and stay there with budging no matter what i do to it. i will have to return it and get another brand as this is a malfunction i am sure.
great little metronome March 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
First I want to say that the review that says "no volume adjustment" is just wrong. You can clearly see the volume dial at the top-right of the product photograph.
It's very small and light and it does what it's supposed to do. I wouldn't say it has a "nice woody tone" but it's a perfectly fine tone. It's easy to use, as such a simple device should be. I use it for practicing guitar and it's great for that. I've realized that if I don't have this little thing clipped to my music stand, I just won't practice with a metronome at all, so it's great to have. And the price is great.
Dr. Beat can't be beat February 28, 2008 I am a new drummer and the Dr. Beat metronome is really helping me learn to keep time. it is a quality machine that is easy to use. One nice feature is that on the fourth beat (or first, depending on how you count) there is a different tone signifying the fourth or first beat. I highly recommend it!
