Sturdy and Tall Enough for Use Standing Up April 13, 2008
I recently bought this stand and I have to say, it is very well made. Unlike many Hamilton stands and other folding stands with the friction clasps that tend to loosen over time, this stand uses screws. The screws seem to be sturdy and probably will last longer than those stands with friction clasps (the reason I got this stand was because my older one could no longer stand up by itself).
This stand is also very tall. I stand up when practicing so having a stand that is at eye level is essential. This stand is the tallest I found at 67" and should be tall enough for anyone.
The stand bag that is listed on Amazon under "also bought" doesn't actually have a logo when sent (maybe the bag I received wasn't the one advertised?) and though the stand does fit inside, it's a very tight fit and it can take some struggling to fit it in the bag.
