On-Stage Professional Folding Orchestral Music Stand, Black August 12, 2006 Great Product. Very sturdy music stand. Can handle large volume of music. Easily adjustable. Relatively portable.
Almost wonderful May 4, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The stand is very sturdy and looks great, but the podium is held to the vertical stand with a plastic bracket. The bracket broke during assembly. I never even got to put a sheet of music on the damn thing.
I didn't want to go to the hassle of packing everything back up to mail for a return, so I made my own metal bracket. Now the stand is wonderful. It's too bad that they couldn't have made it more robust in the begining.
It's only as good as the cheapest parts... February 4, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This stand has a nice metal frame and music holder. It is adjustable in as many different ways as one could think a stand might ever need to be. However, the parts that hold it all together and allow it to be adjusted are made of plastic so they wear out. Quickly. Ours lasted perhaps four weeks.
For the price, you'd be reasonable in expecting something that will last years. I've seen stands priced both higher and lower, and I think any of those would be a better purchase than this one. If the whole thing is cheaply made and you pay a cheap price, or if the whole thing is very well made and you pay a quality price...either of those situations is better than what you will get with this product.
Piece of junk! January 23, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This music stand lasted less than a month. The locking mechanisms for the height and tilt adjustment are made of cheap plastic and they broke after just a few uses. Definitely the worst music stand I've ever seen.
