Great book! January 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a great fan of Pirate's and its music. I would say this collection captures the essence of the songs from the movie quite well with a few exceptions. (For example, a few measures in the Black Pearl make you wonder what you're doing). Overall, however, it's great!
Great music, overall December 17, 2007 I was kind of disappointed at the simplicity of most of the pieces in this book, but otherwise, I like them. It's fun to just sit down and futz around with the pieces. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves the movie (of course) and is a beginning-intermediate student. They sound exactly as they do in the movie, too, for the difficulty.
You Cannot Get any better than this!!! January 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was purchased for myself. I love the music of this movie and really love the challenging timing of each song. This is a must have for any library.
Lots of fun pieces to play! October 28, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The pieces in this book are very fun to play. They are written very well and it sounds very similar to what you hear on the soundtrack. I would reccommend this book for intermediate pianists, not beginners!
Pirates' Badelt is awesome March 10, 2006 I love this music! I don't traditionally like instrumentals but this music is catchy and expressive. Klaus Badelt is a genius. It also brings back memories of the scenes in the movie. Highly recommend!
