works good .. almost returned it because you have to put the midi in and out into the opposite prongs, and then have your keyboard sound all the way down .. overall though, its a great deal .. works with reason 4.0

This device is well made and is easy to install. The speed is sufficient to handle several midi instruments attached to a computer.

Make sure you wash your hands (really!) after touching this cable--(it contains cancer causing chemicals, as is admitted in the manual on CD). But the worst thing about this product is the software that comes with it and the license agreement. Apparently you cannot use portions of the software for any commercial purpose. (I only hope this means I can use the cable that way). It also expressly is NOT warranteed to be free from "malicious software"(!)--code that could courrupt your computer's memory, steal stuff off your computer or damage it. All I wanted was a cable. So when I read all this in the agreement I clicked on "NO", BUT IT INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE ANYWAY!
The whole license agreement and the way it functions (or "malfunctions") all reek of bad faith to me, and so I am sorry to say that I am not pleased with this product. I have to admit, I haven't tried using the cable yet--but I'm afraid to! I probably will, though, because I do have a project due on short notice, and that's why I ordered the cable. Maybe I'll end up being happy with the potentially cancer-and-birth-defect-causing cable itself when I actually use it. We'll see.

This is a good USB MIDI cable. It come with driver on a CD or you can download the driver from their website. This cable work with my Yamaha MIDI enabled keyboard and my Yamaha DD-65 electronic drum. This cable allowed me to transfer songs from MIDI devices to and from the computer. It work like it should.
Does what it is sopose to do. January 17, 2008
This product does what it is sopose to do and I have yet to have a problem with it at all and I have done a lot of recording with it. It was pretty much plug and play right out of the box. Fantastic product!
