My son needed this book for school and we received in time for school. Great service!
Good for self-study when you buy another book May 25, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a good music theory book. It's easy to follow the lessons, and you don't really need a teacher if you have the other book with ear training CDs as well as answers. But the thing is that this guide book costs around $26, and that's more expensive than ths theory book itself. If you want the whole bunch at cheaper price, buy a book that has practice questions and answers together.
Good value! March 9, 2007 This workbook is very easy to use and a great value considering it is a 3 in 1 offering.
Perfect for Beginngers and Review February 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book as a review before starting theory one at the university level. Some of the info was easy everyday stuff but other portions of the book helped me not only in theory but in dictation as well. I would recommend this book for any musician that has never had formal theory training and would like to start. It is by no means complete but it is definitely a solid start.
