5 out of 5 stars GREAT FAMILY FUN   August 7, 2008
The story-line, the music, and the cast combine to creat a wonderful experience the whole family can enjoy together.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!!!   August 4, 2008
Donny Osmond does such a fantastic job in this musical. I saw this live (unfortunately without Donny as the star) and it was good, but Donny made it so much more fun and enjoyable. His voice and vocal range is amazing and he has such a great range of emotion in this musical. Specifically, during one scene towards the end (somewhere during the groveling scenes - can't remember exactly where) Donny bends down to look at Benjamin who is laying on the ground. He picks up the golden cup and slams it down with disgust in front of Benjamin. It actually gave me cold chills the first time (and several times after) I saw it because it is a look that you normally don't see on Donny nor associate with him. This is a great musical for all ages and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

5 out of 5 stars Loved it!!!   May 5, 2008
We watched it countless times with our family. Our family ranges from toddlers to teenagers and we all enjoy it.
It's a great story but to fun and catchy music!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Production of the Lloyd Weber and Rice Musical   April 3, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

To be quite honest I was skeptical when I heard my friend giving rave reviews of Donny Osmond's performance in the Lloyd Weber-Rice musical "Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." However since my seven year old is a fan of Andrew Lloyd Weber's hit musical "Cats" I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was written in the late 1960's by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice after having been approached by a friend to write an end of term musical for his school to produce. After throwing ideas back and forth Tim Rice came up with the idea of a musical based on the Bible story of Joseph and as they say the rest is history. This production features a talented ensamble of performers with Donny Osmond as Joseph, Maria Friedman as the narrator, Sir Richard Attenborough as Jacob and Joan Collins as Mrs. Potiphar. This is a musical production which is sure to delight both children and adults.

Needed the movie for ideas on how to help with high school production of the same. Worked great.
